This afternoon we explored food that is kosher (fit or appropriate). We looked at the Jewish rules and made our own menus.
Year 3 are really happy to announce the theme of our Christmas production – a festive family sing-a-long! On Thursday 21st December at 9.30 and 2.30 we will be singing some of our favourite Christmas songs, and would like you to join in with us! Tickets are available from reception for our production. We would also kindly ask that children wear anything Christmassy too, like jumpers, hats, antlers or tinsel!
A letter has gone home in book bags tonight, but if you need any more information please don’t hesitate to ask us!
We have researched Enid Blyton to gather key information for our report writing. We researched on the internet and wrote notes containing the key information. We then sorted our post-it notes into the four subheadings.
This morning we explored the language used in an unfamiliar text to infer what might be happening. We noticed lots and really questioned what we read. We loved the extract so much we begged Mrs Wigglesworth to let us read it at story time! It was from ‘Mog the forgetful cat’ and we really enjoyed it!
