We have researched Enid Blyton to gather key information for our report writing. We researched on the internet and wrote notes containing the key information. We then sorted our post-it notes into the four subheadings.
This morning we explored the language used in an unfamiliar text to infer what might be happening. We noticed lots and really questioned what we read. We loved the extract so much we begged Mrs Wigglesworth to let us read it at story time! It was from ‘Mog the forgetful cat’ and we really enjoyed it!
Yesterday we learnt all about Remembrance Day. We discussed its importance as a class and shared our own thoughts.
Here is our blog challenge. Can you complete the different challenges for dojos?
A massive thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our parent event yesterday afternoon!
Today we consolidated our Maths learning about addition and subtraction, and attempted to increase our pace in mental arithmetic. We played a dice game in pairs and challenged ourselves to easy (1 digit +/- 1 digit), medium (2 digit +/- 1 digit) and hard (2 digit +/- 2 digit) levels of learning!
What a lovely moment to see this afternoon! Ronnie has been helping Zachary with his spellings and Zachary was very grateful, so he made Ronnie a bookmark for all of her books. These two are such lovely friends!
